Cookie Notice

Effective February 1, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how CommandVault uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing site and in the authenticated Service.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and web beacons.

2. Cookies we set

  • Strictly necessary (session cookies, CSRF tokens, authentication). These are required to run the Service and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
  • Preference (theme, language, dashboard layout). Stored locally on your device.
  • Security (rate-limit counters, suspicious-activity flags).

We do not currently use advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies on the authenticated Service. The marketing site may load minimal self-hosted analytics to count page views.

3. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view and delete cookies and block specific sites from setting them. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing into the Service.

4. Changes

If we introduce additional cookies, we will update this page and, where required, obtain your consent.
